SMS Terms & Conditions
Program: MSPMSP Platform Notifications · Effective date: September 17, 2026
These terms govern the MSPMSP Platform Notifications text message program operated by Jasco Technology, LLC ("Jasco Technology", "we", "us"), the operator of the MSPMSP software platform. By opting in, you agree to these terms.
- Program name: MSPMSP Platform Notifications
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
- Support: jason@mspmsp.com
1. Program description
MSPMSP Platform Notifications sends one-time passcodes, account security codes, and service and ticket alerts to MSPMSP users who enable SMS in their account settings. Typical messages include:
- A one-time passcode to complete sign-in or step-up verification.
- An account security code, or a notice about a security-relevant change to your account.
- A service alert — for example, a monitored system going down or recovering.
- A ticket alert — for example, a new high-priority ticket, an on-call escalation, or an update on a ticket assigned to you.
This is a transactional, account-related program. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
2. How you opt in
SMS is off by default and is never enabled on your behalf. You opt in yourself, inside the MSPMSP platform:
- Sign in at app.mspmsp.com and go to Account → Security.
- Enter your mobile number in the SMS section and submit it. The screen states that by adding your number you agree to receive account and service text messages from MSPMSP, that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, and that you can reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help — and it links to our Privacy Policy and to these terms. That screen is illustrated publicly, without a login, at SMS Opt-In.
- We text a verification code to that number. Entering the code in the platform confirms that you control the number and completes your opt-in.
Your consent is recorded with the date, time and the number verified. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, and you can use MSPMSP fully without it — email remains available for the same notifications.
Only provide a mobile number you own or are authorized to use. If your number changes or is reassigned, remove or update it in the platform.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on your own account activity and the alerts you or your administrator have configured — for example, how often you sign in and how many monitored systems or tickets are routed to you. Some users receive only a few messages a month; an on-call technician during an outage may receive several in an hour.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for these messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving them. Check your plan with your carrier.
5. Opting out (STOP)
Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. You may also reply QUIT, END, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE. We will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, after which you will receive no further texts from this program at that number.
You can also turn SMS off at any time by removing your mobile number under Account → Security in the platform, or by emailing jason@mspmsp.com.
To rejoin after opting out, reply START or re-add and re-verify your number in the platform.
6. Getting help (HELP)
Reply HELP to any message for help, and we will reply with the program name and our support contact. You can also reach us at jason@mspmsp.com.
7. Supported carriers and delivery
The program is supported on major US carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost, MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile, Cricket and Google Voice, as well as many smaller and regional carriers. Carrier support can change without notice.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier's network and your handset, and is not guaranteed. Because delivery is not guaranteed, do not rely on SMS as your only channel for time-critical alerts; MSPMSP also delivers notifications by email and in the platform itself.
8. Privacy and your mobile information
We use your mobile number only to operate this program — to send the passcodes, security codes and alerts described above — and to keep a record of your consent and any opt-out. Our sub-processors for message delivery (Twilio) receive your number solely to transmit the message on our behalf.
Mobile information and messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
For the full picture of what we collect and how we handle it, see our Privacy Policy — the single privacy policy for MSPMSP and for this messaging program. It is also linked from the in-app opt-in screen, which is illustrated at SMS Opt-In.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above will change, and material changes will be communicated to enrolled users. Continued participation after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
